The HS/MS Science Olympiad Team had a fun time competing at the regional event held at Millersville University on March 23. Fourteen middle school teams and twenty-seven high school teams competed. Congratulations to the following students on placing in their events:
3rd place-Wheeled Vehicle-Vivian and Lillian
4th place-Crime Busters Makayla and Jade
4th place-Meteorology Jade and Chase
5th place-Dynamic Planet-Isabella and Kelsey
6th place-Isabella and Kelsey Optics
6th place-Forestry (MS) Makayla and Jade
9th place-Codebusters Bryson, Stella, and Sarah
10th place-Forestry(HS) Benton and Bryson

Mrs. Kirkwood’s classes recently read about the life and times of Harriet Tubman. Her students were challenged to recreate a portion of the novel as a culminating activity. Her students were VERY creative for this project! Great job!!!
