At the annual Millersburg Fire Company banquet held a few weeks ago, some of our own Millersburg High School Seniors received special recognition for their accomplishments as Junior Firefighters. Seniors Hayden Shutt and Leighton Daniels both received the "2024 Marlin "Moon" Grim Training Award". This special recognition was given in honor of the boys' hard work and dedication to the company, becoming active Junior Firefighters, assisting in recruiting, and completing the following trainings: Fire Ground Support, Interior Firefighting with Live Fire, Exterior Firefighter, Introduction to Fire Service, and Hazmat Material Operations.
Millersburg School District is very proud of Shutt's and Daniel's accomplishments, and we congratulate them
both for receiving this special award.
