As winter weather affects road conditions, Millersburg Area School District will use one of the following:
Early dismissal
Delayed start
School closed-Flexible Instruction Day (FID)
School cancelled
In the event that winter weather impedes safe travel within the school district limits you will receive phone calls, text messages, and email correspondence from the District. Alerts will be posted on the district website and on local media services.

Pre-K:
· Attendance Procedures
Parent/Guardians will need to email the child’s teacher or notify the teacher on Seesaw.
For attendance to count, assignments must be completed and returned to the teacher.
· Assignments
Teachers will provide students with a folder with assignments to complete at home.
Teachers will provide instructions on how the students should return the completed assignment(s).
Parents/Guardians are encouraged to contact their child’s teacher if the child is experiencing difficulties completing the assignment(s) or has any questions.
Grades K-4:
· Attendance Procedures
Parent/Guardians will need to email or use Seesaw to message the child’s teacher by 9 AM stating their child is present and their child is aware of the assignments to complete for that day.
For attendance to count, assignments must be completed and returned to the teacher.
· Assignments
Teachers will provide students with a folder with assignments to complete at home.
Teachers will provide instructions on how the students should submit/return the completed assignment(s).
Parents/Guardians are encouraged to contact their child’s teacher (via email) if the child is experiencing difficulties completing the assignment(s) or has any questions.
Middle/High Schools:
· Attendance
Students must complete their assigned work to be counted present.
· Assignments
Student assignments will be posted on teachers’ learning management systems. Teachers will provide instructions on how the students should submit/return the completed assignment(s).
Parents/Guardians or students are encouraged to contact the teacher (via email) if the student is experiencing difficulties completing the assignment(s) or has any questions.
