Day Trip to Camp Hebron

By: Ella Baluch and Kierstyn Long

The fifth grade went on a day trip to Camp Hebron on 10/21/16. Fifth grade went to Camp Hebron for the day so we can find out what it is like so we know what to expect when we go in the spring. It was a lot of fun because we got to spend time with our friends and the 12th graders. We also got to roast hot dogs and marshmallows for lunch.

We saw some cool things like,a six point buck jump over the horse fence, many insects,a cat, horses and many other things.

We also got to go in one of the cabins and it was very cool. Another thing we got to do, was to go in the woods and see all the different places. We also got to see a goose. We got to see some of the feathers that fell off of it.

We had to do a little packet that asked us questions like, what are the two most important rules at Camp Hebron? Another activity we did was a leaf rubbing. A leaf rubbing is when you put a leaf under a piece of paper and rub your pencil over the paper. We also had to fill out many more questions.

In conclusion these are the things we did and saw on our day trip to Camp Hebron.
