New Cafeteria Point of Sale System Implemented
Dear Parents and Students,
Millersburg Area School District recently implemented a new Point of Sale (POS) system for the cafeteria. This system will allow us to increase the level of service we provide in the cafeteria. The system went live on Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
For cafeteria purchases, students will continue to use their current ID number. We are in the process of updating student account balance information in PowerSchool for the remainder of the school year.
Beginning in the 2019-2020 school year, to fund your student’s account, we recommend parents/guardians deposit money using MySchoolBucks. You may also use MySchoolBucks to receive low balance alerts, set up automatic payments, and set daily/weekly spending limits for your child(ren). Cash and check payments will also still be accepted.
Funds that remain in your student’s meal account at the end of the school year will be carried over to the next school year.
If your student has qualified for free or reduced meal prices, this information is noted in the system and the meal will be processed just as it is for all other students without any special indication to other students.
If your student has any allergies or other medical concerns, please notify us so this information can be placed in the system. This will alert our staff to help monitor his/her meals.
