Middle School Students Students In Mrs. Kirkwood’s Sixth Grade Class Using STEM Concepts From Math And Science To Build Pyramids Out Of Sugar Cubes
Students in Mrs. Kirkwood’s sixth grade class are using STEM concepts from math and science to build pyramids out of sugar cubes. Students have recently studied about the Giza Plateau and the knowledge, resources, materials, and man hours needed to build the great Pyramid. Students also learned how to decode, read, and write in hieroglyphs. Students practiced reading and writing their names in hieroglyphs.
