PTSO - Parent Teacher Student Organization – All parents, legal guardians, students, faculty and staff of students in the Middle School can be members of this organization.
What does the PTSO do?
The PTSO works closely with the Middle School Principal - Mr. Shover, Student Council Advisors and Middle School Teachers in planning and providing assistance with various activities and fundraisers. Parent volunteers are often needed for help with classroom testing, picture days, being chaperones at school dances, working at the School Store and Field Day, to name a few.
How can you get involved?
The best way is to attend the meetings and become a part of the organization. Meetings will be held throughout the year, starting in September. This will help you know what is going on in your child's school and help you stay connected. Please take the time to fill out the PTSO volunteer paperwork that comes home with your child during the first week of school.
We are in need of new parents this year in order to keep this organization going. Please think about joining us.
Meetings are held in the high school room 101 every second Wednesday of the month (September – May) starting at 6:30 PM.
